State Plane Coordinates II

$49.00

This is the second course in the series. After a brief review of material from the previous course, the discussion proceeds to how measurements on the ground are first converted to their equivalents at sea level (geodetic distances) before then projecting them onto the plane. The differences between the 1927 and 1983 systems are discussed, with attention drawn to the fact that various states have chosen one of meters, feet and U.S. Survey feet as the linear unit in the course of adopting the system by the legislature.
