The NYS specific courses are approved for continuing education in New York through the Shaw Fund. The additional courses in the continuing education catalog are approved by either Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi or East Tennessee State University, both of which have highly regarded ABET-accredited surveying programs. The New York State Education Department recognizes the majority of these programs as continuing education accredited since they have been approved by a university or college.
