Pre-Requisite Knowledge
The only prerequisite consideration for this course is an interest in gaining an enhanced understanding of the concepts behind and purpose for the Minimum Standard Detail Requirements for ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this course, the participant should expect to be able to:

      • Outline the surveyor’s responsibility with regard to records research
      • Explain the new fieldwork requirement relating to the location of utility features
      • Identify the Table A items from 2011 and 2016 that have been eliminated or substantively changed in the 2021 Standards
      • Explain the surveyor’s responsibility as related to easements known by the surveyor to exist, but that are not listed in the title commitment
